I’ve been providing general DIY and property maintenance work for a number of years. I am more than capable of assisting you with almost any work you require within your premises.

I pride myself on the service I deliver to all of my customers.

I aim to take on almost any smaller job you may require around the home, positioning myself to be the perfect choice for work that the larger builders, plumbers, electricians, carpenters and even other Handymen/women won’t take on.

I also try to be flexible on coming to you at a time that’s convenient and usually come equipped with all the necessary tools and materials to complete the task, hence avoiding having to book another appointment and saving time,I try to save even more time by usually giving a rough guide quote without having to come out to you, all I require is some information and pictures relating to the job.

Although cheapest certainly doesn’t always mean best, especially when it comes to DIY and property maintenance work, I ensure my prices are some of the most competitive within the local area.

To give you an even better idea of the different types of work I carry out, here is a general list, although it’s not exhaustive.

Assemble/Disassemble Flat-pack

Do you have a new wardrobe or your kids cabin bed to put together? I can assemble most flat pack furniture, quickly and professionally.

Why waste your valuable weekends assembling your IKEA furniture? I can put together your bed, desk, wardrobe, bookcase, out door garden furniture, kids toys, sports equipment and lots more. If you're moving or just disposing of large items i can dismantle them for easy transportation.

Minor Carpentry

If your kitchen or bedroom drawers are falling apart or the doors are misaligned i can fix it, if you need a door rehung or just planed after you have had new carpet laid, I can replace or upgrade locks and door furniture, I can lay laminate floor, fit shelves in alcoves cupboards etc

Light Replacement / Removal & Minor Electrical Work

I can replace pendants, with fittings of your choice, replace outdoor light bulb and fittings. Are your old style down lights not working? I can replace them with more modern energy efficient LED lights. Is your existing powerpoint dated or not working, have you lost the knobs for your dimmer switches? I can replace most wall plates and sockets. I can also assist with phone line and immersion issues

Picture/Artwork Hanging

Do you need help hanging those picture that have been hiding behind the sofa for years? I can advise on location, height and fixing to secure them to the wall insuring they are level. you would be surprised at what i have hung on clients walls in the past, size and weight is not normally and issues.

Plumbing

Is your tap dripping, toilet not flushing?, i have impressed many clients with my quick fixes as i carry several parts (obviously not all are quick)

Do you need your white goods plumbed in or removed? I can assist with a number of small plumbing issues the more specialist trades person doesn’t have time for or its not worth their while. I can also help with defective showers, valves or shower pumps

Repairs to toilets, including flush mechanisms, cisterns and overflows to taps, including changing washers or cartridges to radiators, including bleeding and or overhauling valves to traps, wastes and plugs to leaking pipe work to plumbing connections and joints

Shelves

If you need new, modern shelves in your home, just ask me.

From made to measure to standard shelves I can advise on suitability and location to fit them in any of your rooms.

TV Mounting

I can secure your TV on the wall and leave you to relax and enjoy your new TV.

General Handyman

If your looking at my site and your not sure save time just call me or email, what's the worst that can happen i can only say yes or no in the mean time here are some more ideas:- Baby Proofing, Bath Screens, Cable Tidying, Toilet Seats, Cat Flaps, Replacement Double Glazed Units, Replacement Electric Shower.

Jet Washing

I have a powerfull preshwasher that should get most of the following looking in almost as new condition:- Drives, Patios, Walls, Decking, Fencing, Sheds Patio Furniture

Odd Jobs

Unusual Request Considered! I have said this as I love my job and what i do, what makes it interesting is i never know what i will be doing from one day to the next, and if i can't help i may be able to advise so you have nothing to lose by asking and everything to gain.

Blinds & Curtains

I can supply if required Made to measure Shutters, Roller Blinds, Venetian, Roman, Rails, Poles or just fit you own.

General Handyman / Heavy Lifting

I can assist move heavy, bulky, awkward items for you, whether you’re looking to have them moved from one floor to the next or simply across the room, i can move washing machines, fridges, wardrobes etc. Please Note: this is NOT a house moving service
